These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website corestory.com.au (the “Website”) and any services provided by Core Story Pty Ltd (“Core Story”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing the Website, engaging our services, or opting in to receive communications from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Core Story Pty Ltd is a brand messaging consultancy based in Melbourne, Australia, providing workshops, brand messaging packages, sprints, retainers and related consulting services to professional services firms.

3. Services
3.1 Where you engage Core Story to provide services, the specific services, fees and timelines will be set out in a written proposal, scope of work or service agreement (“Agreement”) provided to you. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and an Agreement, the Agreement will prevail.
3.2 Any changes to an agreed scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties and may be subject to additional fees.
4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Fees for services are as set out in the relevant Agreement or as published by us from time to time, and are in Australian dollars exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments are due within 14 days of the invoice date.
4.3 Additional work outside an agreed scope of work will be quoted and invoiced separately.
6. Termination
6.1 Either party may terminate an ongoing engagement by giving 30 days’ written notice.
6.2 Core Story may terminate an engagement immediately if you fail to make payments on time or breach any material term of these Terms or the relevant Agreement.
6.3 Upon termination, you must pay for all services rendered up to the date of termination.
7. Confidentiality
7.1 Each party agrees to keep confidential any information disclosed by the other party that is not publicly available, both during and after any engagement.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on the Website, including text, frameworks (including the RAWthority framework), designs, logos and materials, is owned by or licensed to Core Story and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use it for commercial purposes without our written consent.
8.2 Any original materials developed during a client engagement remain the property of Core Story unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Warranties, Liability and Indemnity
9.1 Core Story will exercise reasonable skill and care in the performance of its services.
9.2 Core Story does not warrant specific outcomes or business performance, only the delivery of professional services as outlined in the relevant Agreement.
9.3 To the extent permitted by law, Core Story excludes all liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or our services. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9.4 You indemnify Core Story against any claims, costs or liabilities arising from your use of deliverables beyond the agreed purpose.
10. SMS and Mobile Messaging Terms
10.1 Where you have requested information or an offer via the Website and opted in to receive promotional and notification SMS from Core Story, we may send you offers and informational messages by SMS.
10.2 You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting “STOP” in reply to any message. Upon sending “STOP”, we will confirm your unsubscribe status via SMS, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.
10.3 If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for assistance, or contact us directly at [contact email].
10.4 Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
10.5 Message and data rates may apply for messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. For questions about your text or data plan, contact your mobile provider.
